Perfect for a quick and filling breakfast. Had the Hawaiian sandwich which was spectacular (opted for no bacon. But bread was sweet and soft, paprika aoli was amazing and the ham and Swiss were warm, which as a whole bit was top notch). The pastries are huge, and they are even better when you ask for them to be warmed up. The cheddar scallion biscuit is to die for.

Omg City Bakery, your staff is lovely, you got us through the pandemic with online ordering and easy pick up, your foods are so yummy, and today I add amazing king cake to the list!!!! Thank you and laissez le bon temps rouler!

Delicious bakery in Asheville that is well worth the difficulty in finding a parking spot. Staff was very friendly, and the ambiance was very unique here. We ordered a sticky bun, blueberry muffin, cinnamon roll, and sandwiches with iced coffees. Everything was to die for and we will happily be returning.

Atmosphere: 1/1: moderate sized yet homey. Service: 1/1: very nice and welcoming staff Price: 1/1: spent $24 on breakfast for 2 and a coffee Food: 2/2: Delicious croissants! Their cinnamon roll was warm and super tasty! My breakfast sandwich with chorizo was a little heavy on the stomach, but taste wise went above my expectations. Their coffee was also top tier. Overall: 5/5: If you’re in Asheville and not cooking your own breakfast, definitely come here for a quick delicious morning bite!

Warm feeling as you enter this quaint storefront. This place is pretty cool but a little over priced. Smells really good outside and in fresh bread baking. I had the Shot in the Dark which is a coffee with a shot of espresso. That was really good. Thanks for the breakfast

🌟 what a wonderful little cafe "City Bakery" is !! the super friendly staff doles out fresh made deliciously creative breakfast and lunch items as well as a variety of coffee options in a bustling yet calm environment. I absolutely recommend their Farmhouse breakfast sandwich, I was hesitant of the apple butter honey-mustard but the young lady who took my order persuaded me to try it and she was right, as breakfast was perfect. ☕️ 🥯 🍊 🍞 🥪 🍎 🥛 🥑

Stopped in before heading to the trails for a cappuccino and pastry. The barista did an excellent job making the cappuccino; it is not common to find a coffee shop that can properly make a traditional cappuccino. The almond apple bear claw was delicious. I would suggest having them warm it up. We will definitely be back!
